White Eating is one of the most loved and well-known desserts of the Sicilian tradition but this typically Brazilian version, made with coconut milk and passion fruit sauce is truly exquisite and surprising.

It has a great advantage of not being complicated at all and is excellent if prepared a day in advance. If we have guests for example for Sunday lunch, it will certainly be an excellent dessert, also suitable for those who are intolerant or allergic to gluten.

To prepare the White Eat coconut we need:

  • 1 liter of fresh milk
  • 250 ml of creme fraiche
  • 250 ml of concentrated milk
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • 80 g of grated coconut
  • 6 shaved spoons of corn starch

The procedure is very simple:

First you need to dissolve the corn starch in the milk at room temperature by mixing well. Add the other ingredients below and bring to the boil over low heat, stirring constantly so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Continue cooking until it forms a creamy and full-bodied mixture.

Pour into a pudding mold, wait for it to reach room temperature and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Better still would be to prepare it overnight.

In the meantime, we proceed with the preparation of the passion fruit sauce.


To prepare the sauce you need:

  • The pulp of 2 or 3 passion fruit
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 heaped spoons of sugar

The procedure is equally simple:

Bring all the ingredients in a non-stick saucepan over a high heat until the sauce thickens. Let it cool well, otherwise once poured it will melt the pudding!

I really like to decorate this cake so candid with colorful flowers. The important thing, at least for me, is that they are absolutely untreated flowers, which you can recognize as "edible flowers" by the greengrocer. And remember, however, that everything served on a plate should be edible so be careful not to match the garlic flower, for example, for obvious reasons.

For the rest, it is only to let the imagination go and serve it with confidence. If not all, many will like it.



A receita do Manjar de Coco em portugues!



  • 1 liter of leite
  • 250 ml de leite condensado
  • 250 ml of creme de leite
  • 200 ml of leite de coco
  • 6 colheres de amido de milho
  • 80 g of coco ralado

Como fazer or Manjar de Coco:

Misture primeiro o leite com o amido de milho até dissolver. So 'entao adicione todos os demais ingredientses.

Levers at fogo medio mexendo consistently pra nao deixar grudar no fundo da panela ou criar grumes. Cozinhe até engrossar.

Vire em uma forma para pudim, deixe esfriar e coloque na geladeira pelo menos por 6 horas antes de servir.

  • A pulp of 2 or 3 maracujàs
  • 1 xicara de agua
  • 2 colheres de açucar

Levers todos os ingredients ao fogo e deixe cozinhar por mais ou menos 5 minutos, até engrossar.
