A real "joker"! Very simple, fresh, tasty dish! It can be served as a tasty appetizer or as a light and appetizing second course.

For 4 people you need:

  • 400g of smoked swordfish carpaccio
  • 5 Tarocco oranges
  • juice of half a lemon
  • Taggiasca olives
  • fresh basil
  • 1/2 glass of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste

The preparation:

Raw cut 4 oranges, completely removing the white film, which is bitter. Each orange is cut into rounds.

For the dressing, I emulsify the extra virgin olive oil with the juice of 1 orange and 1/2 lemon, salt and pepper.

I prepare the dish by alternating the swordfish and orange slices, add the Taggiasca olives and garnish with the orange emulsion. Finally the basil leaves.
