Simplicity always wins! Not to be confused with banality. A well done thing is never trivial and it is so also in the case of this butter biscuit recipe.

Easy to perform and without frills, to be savored on these afternoons of absolute laziness, together with a cup of steaming hot chocolate. The climate still allows it and the days of "isolation" ask us.

The recipe for biscuits:

  • 100g of butter
  • 80g of sugar
  • 2 yolks
  • 150g of 00 flour
  • zest of 1/4 lemon and 1/4 of untreated orange, grated
  • a pinch of salt (about 2g)

Work the butter (at room temperature) with the sugar and the grated lemon and orange zest, until it is well blended.

Add the 2 yolks and mix well.

Finally add the flour and work well, in order to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Wrap with plastic wrap and leave to rest in the fridge for about half an hour. The fresh dough will be easier to work.

Roll out the dough and cut into the desired shape, transferring it to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Cook for about 10 minutes in a static oven at 180 °
