With our Mix for Gelato alla Crema you can prepare a very popular dessert in Italy: the coffee meringue.

The simplicity of execution is disarming. In a few minutes, following the instructions on the package, it is possible to prepare cream ice cream.

Just add 100g of the mix, 250ml of fresh cream and 1 egg yolk to a bowl.

Emulsify all the ingredients and whip with the help of an electric whisk for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture is thick and uniform.

After having lined the bottom of a silicone mold with a good quantity of crumbled meringues, pour the mixture and place in the freezer for a couple of hours.

Just before serving, prepare a good coffee, place the ice cream (with the meringue side up) and pour in the coffee.

Serve and enjoy immediately.
